Terms of Service Agreement

Please read carefully. By reading the following rules, you understand, acknowledge and agree that you will abide by the terms of this Agreement. This Agreement will remain in full force and effect as long as you are an internet DJ with Smokin Tunz Radio. To the extent that there is a conflict between this Agreement and the specific Rules of Participation for the activity in which you choose to participate, this Agreement shall govern. If you do not accept the Terms and Regulations, please do not apply to Smokin Tunz Radio.

Computer Requirements

1. High speed internet connection (DSL, Cable, T-1 or higher)

2. Windows Operating System 2000, XP or 2003 – Mac users will not be accepted do to software

3. Minimum requirement of 256 MB of Ram or Higher - preferably 512 MB

4. Pentium 3 1.4 GHz or faster.

5. MP3 storage space (approx. 45 gigs).

Internet DJ Criteria

1.       Ability to speak English clearly

     2.   Must have an aggressive and creative outgoing personality.  

3.   Must be able to multi-task yet keep your composure and interact with listeners.

4.   Submit the signed non-disclosure agreement

5.  Agree to the Smokin Tunz Radio Terms and Conditions

6.  Understand your time here is on a volunteer basis

7.  Commit to a minimum of 3 hours for the assigned shift you requested.

8.  Complete the online DJ application

9.  Submit a press kit for audition

Apply for a DJ Position

Read the Terms and Conditions below before applying for a DJ position. If you are in agreement, please submit an email with the following information listed below.

Press Kit:

1.  Create a 90-120 second audition demo. MP3 format is HIGHLY recommended.

     The following will be evaluated:

1.       sound quality and vocal talent (primary)

2.       DJ skills (broadest scope of talent, introduce a song set)

3.       promotion ability (advertise website and features)

4.       on-air reading ability (i.e. read a band bio)

2.   Write a 2 or 3 paragraph about yourself; include the Smokin Tunz Radio type of show and a preferred schedule  

      (Upon availability) you want to maintain at Smokin Tunz Radio. 

3.   A photograph of yourself (camera headshot for quality exposure, no phone pictures or webcam pictures will be accepted)

4.  Email your submission to admin@smokintunz.net with the subject line as DJ Application with your name. 

     Once your submission have been reviewed member of the Smokin Tunz Radio staff will contact you.  If you have been selected as a Smokin Tunz Radio DJ, be prepared to sign a non disclosure agreement and    

     Email us a head shot picture of you to post on the air staff section of the Smokin Tunz Radio website.  All submissions will be replied to.
