Terms of Air Staff Agreement


Please read carefully. By reading the following rules, you understand, acknowledge and agree that you will abide by the terms of this Agreement. This Agreement will remain in full force and effect as long as you are an internet DJ with Smokin Tunz Radio.  To the extent that there is a conflict between this Agreement and the specific Rules of Participation for the activity in which you choose to participate, this Agreement shall govern. If you do not accept the Terms and Regulations, please do not apply to Smokin Tunz Radio.

Terms and Conditions

1. We are here to serve our listeners. Our listeners come first and we play what they wish to hear. In any three-hour period, you should not intentionally play more than three songs (and not more than two songs in a row) from the same recording; you should not intentionally play more than four songs (and not more than three songs in a row) from the same recording artist or anthology/box set. Archived programs (those that, when accessed, always start in the same place and play in the same order) should be at least five hours long, and should not be available for more than two weeks at a time.

2. Although this is a volunteer radio station, we have a schedule drawn up for each internet DJ and we require that you show for your scheduled shifts, and report in 15 minutes early - if you are unable to work your shift, you are required to notify a member of management at least 3 hrs before your scheduled time and if it is an emergency then you are required to telephone any one of the management team. Immediate dismissal will be in effect for failure to turn up for your shift 3x in a row without any accepted good reason. If you have any problems please do not hesitate to bring the matter up with the management.

3. All internet DJ's are required to behave in a proper and professional manner. PG rated

4. Smokin Tunz Radio does not entertain nor allow any form of drama within or outside the station from any staff. If any staff cause any form of drama within the chat room and is asked to leave, please do so with dignity and maturity without creating any unpleasant situations for other staff member or listeners.

5. All staff of Smokin Tunz Radio are to be treated with respect and if anyone has a problem or issue with any other member or situation at Smokin Tunz Radio then it is required that the matter be brought to the immediate management on duty and in absence of the said person, to the any of the Administrative Team. No one is to bring any negativity to any other DJ or staff for it will not be entertained and will be considered drama, and dealt with accordingly. The Management on duty will handle all staff complaints, if the complaints can not be dealt with at the time it will then go through the chain of command.

6. Each application will be reviewed by the management and successful candidates will be informed via email or word of mouth on the date and time of an interview which will be conducted in voice or phone.

7. These guidelines are created to provide only quality internet DJ's for our listeners. We apologize to those of you who wish to join our team but are unable to meet the requirements set by CCR Radio. We hope that you will help support us by listening to our station and spreading the word around to your friends. If you cannot meet the DJ requirements, please contact a member of management to discuss promotions team employment.

The above Terms of User Agreement is binding and will govern with immediate effect upon acceptance. Having read all terms and regulations set by Smokin Tunz Radio, please apply with Smokin Tunz Radio. By submitting an application, you hereby agree to the preceding terms.
